Laurelhurst neighborhood
Laurelhurst is located part in inner Northeast Portland as well as part of inner Southeast. Laurelhurst has some of the finest homes that Portland Oregon has to offer. These homes are luxurious and absolutely amazing. The neighborhood charm and culture can turn an average walk in the park into a full day of sights and sounds that no on would expect. Beautiful homes and gorgeous curb appeal can intrigue even the pickiest of Portland home buyers. There are landscapes that a King would enjoy and location, location, location that many strive to be near.
While venturing through Laurelhurst you will most likely drive around Laurelhurst park with a large beautiful duck pond surrounded by tall trees, grassy fields, a kids play structure and sports court for all to enjoy. Weekend gathering in the park you might find songwriters singing their heart out, or a game of Ultimate Frisbee on the grass, or dozens of dogs in the controlled off leash dog area. Lovely folks strolling around just enjoying the scenery.
The Laurelhurst movie theater offers pizza and beer and $4.00 movies, and enjoy Whole Foods Market both located off of NE Burnside and 28th. A few restaurants the local Portland peeps love and I recommend to all are Il Piatto Italian restaurant, The India Grill has an amazing dinner menu, Bamboo Sushi, Tabla, Kens Artisan Pizza , Sticcato Gilato – Portland’s yummy frozen treats, and of course Pambiche Mediterranean cuisine located on NE Glisan and 28th. Some favorite bars of the locals are – The Laurelthirst Public house with live rock-n-roll and bluegrass music, Beulahland, The Goodfoot with its upstairs Pool tables and downstairs live music or DJ’s, The Bonfire and Holmans with its chance to spin to win for a free meal every time.
