Irvington is a close-in Portland neighborhood located in Northeast Portland Oregon in the 97212 zipcode. It is bordered by the Sabin, Alameda, Elliot, Grant Park. and Sullivans Gulch.
The Lloyd Center Mall with its awesome Ice-skating rink is located within Irvington to get all of your trendy shopping done. Irvington is local to The Tri-met, the I-5 freeway and you can drive just over the Broadway bridge to get to downtown Portland or the Pearl District.
Irvington is mostly residential which includes mostly higher priced luxury Portland homes. I have seen grand Dutch Colonials, English Tudors, and Mansion like Bungalows and Craftsman style home. There is Irving Park wit hits basketball, baseball and tennis courts and Ultimate Frisbee Playing fields, Irvington Elementary school, Whole Foods on Freemont. I have been living off of my Organic fruit and vegetable garden for the last 25 years. I don\'t go produce shopping for 8 months of the year. I also have some of the most healthiest and happiest chickens from which I get fresh eggs daily.
