Cleveland High School is diverse in every sense of the word. Located in the Abernethy neighborhood, Its urban location means that it is home to students of a wide mix of ethnicities and socioeconomic classes. However, it also diverse in that it combines academic excellence with award winning sports teams and art departments. The school boasts one of the few International Baccalaureate programs available in the Portland Education system. In addition they offer multiple honors classes as well as additional college level work. Advanced students may also enroll in the Reed College Young Scholars program or the Portland State University Challenge program. Cleveland has extracurriculars covered too with an award winning choir and dance team.
:Students and parents on Great Schools enjoyed the rigorous curriculum that the International Baccalaureate program offered. They gave the rated the school 4/5 and overall greatschools.net gave it 9/10. Cleveland High School is located at 3400 SE 26TH in Portland. It is located near Powell Park near downtown Portland.

In my spare time I enjoy watching my beautiful boy grow, camping where you can\'t see civilization, giving star talks under a clear night sky, The White Album, brewing my own organic blueberry wine and Organic gardening. I have been living off of my Organic fruit and vegetable garden for the last 25 years. I don\'t go produce shopping for 8 months of the year. I also have some of the most healthiest and happiest chickens from which I get fresh eggs daily.
