Grant High School in Portland is targeting Oregon’s educational goals for the 21st century.

According to their website, Grant High School in the Portland School District is targeting Oregon’s educational goals for the 21st century. Grant high school is in the Wilshire neighborhood students are prepared to do well on all state assessments and Grant students score among the highest for Portland Public Schools. In addition the school’s Institute for Science and Mathematics has received regional and national commendations for progress toward national standards This in part may be the work of the school’s certified teachers several of whom were acknowledged as Master Teachers by national professional organizations, business and the community. Grant offers numerous AP courses as well as courses designed for seniors that count towards college credit. The school also offers interscholastic sports and wide array of extracurricular activities including preforming arts and the National Honor Society. Grant is also the site of the district’s Japanese Immersion Program. In which a group of students who have been together all through school will continue to take Japanese cultural classes throughout their high school careers.

Grant High School is located at 245 NE 36th Ave in Portland right next to Grant Park. Greatschools.net ranked the school 9/10. The student reviews of the school were all extremely positive.
