Sabin Elementary school in the Portland School district in inner Northeast Portland Sabin/Alameda neighborhood draws on many of the great features that makes Portland a great place to relocate your family. The school features a multicultural education, backed by a strong math, science and art program that helps children excel throughout their education.
There are 4 to 6 computers in each classroom allowing students to learn age-appropriate computer skills. Each grade features 90 minutes of daily literacy instruction and math classes are taught in a way to promote problem solving math skills. Additionally, the school features Mad Science workshops to keep students engaged in science learning. An Artist-in-Residence program bolsters the schools’ well-rounded mix of academics with on-going art education.
Sabin Elementary is a SUN School with Portland Parks and Recreation Basketball, and before and afterschool childcare from Peninsula Children’s Center.

In my spare time I enjoy watching my beautiful boy grow, camping where you can\'t see civilization, giving star talks under a clear night sky, The White Album, brewing my own organic blueberry wine and Organic gardening. I have been living off of my Organic fruit and vegetable garden for the last 25 years. I don\'t go produce shopping for 8 months of the year. I also have some of the most healthiest and happiest chickens from which I get fresh eggs daily.
