Nob Hill – Portland relocation into this NW neighborhood
Welcome to Nob Hill, located in the heart of historic Northwest Portland Oregon. Nob hill is located near The pearl district and downtown Portland and along the West hills. If you are currently living in Portland or thinking of a Portland relocation, Nob Hill should be one neighborhood not to miss. Portland’s alternative school, Metropolitan Learning Center is located in the Nob Hill neighborhood and serves as a haven to promote experiential learning as a method of developing students’ skills.
There is a 4.8-mile loop of the Portland Streetcar system that links the Nob Hill neighborhood to the Pearl District, the Downtown Cultural District, Portland State University and the South Waterfront area. The locals enjoy Couch Park, which Includes a basketball court, disabled access restroom, dog off-leash area, paths – paved, playground, and statue or public art. Another local park favorite is Wallace Park. All along Northwest 21st and NW 23rd avenues, you’ll find so many of the city’s top restaurants and shops. You can spend an entire day eating, drinking shopping, and still look forward to coming back another day for all that you missed. Things you may find in the Nob Hill neighborhood are Besaw’s Equilibria Wellness Center, Linfield College Portland campus, Pizza Schmizza, Ken’s Artisan Bakery, MUU-MUU’s, Lucy’s Table, Stella’s, Serratto Restaurant, Gilt Jewelery Pastini Pastaria, 3-D Center of Art and Photography … and so many shops that I won’t have enough room on this blog to put them all.
Families moving to Portland, Oregon will enjoy many historic luxury homes that line the skinny streets of the Nob Hill neighborhood. These homes are Beautiful and Grand. Old Victorians, Craftsmans, along with many duplex’s and multi-plex homes line the streets. You will also find many large Apartment complex’s and Condo’s.
