Piedmont is also home to one of the oldest parks in the Pacific Northwest, Peninsula Park. Built in 1913, this Italian-villa style facility was the first community center in the Portland park system. Its original floor plan was perfectly symmetrical, consisting of two pools and two gyms – one for men, the other for women. Things have changed since then. Location- 700 N Rosa Parks Way. The closest library to Piedmont neighborhood of the Multnomah County Library system is the North Portland at 512 N. Killingsworth Street.

I have been living off of my Organic fruit and vegetable garden for the last 25 years. I don\'t go produce shopping for 8 months of the year. I also have some of the most healthiest and happiest chickens from which I get fresh eggs daily.
