Richmond is named after Dr. Richmond Kelly, son of an early immigrant from Kentucky who held one of the donation land claims in the area, Rev. Clinton Kelly.
The Richmond Japanese Immersion School at 2276 SE 41st. caters to PK-5 students and as the name implies allows them to immerse themselves in the culture of Japan. The material covered at the school is mostly the same as at other schools, half of the content is simply taught in Japanese instead of English.

I have been living off of my Organic fruit and vegetable garden for the last 25 years. I don\'t go produce shopping for 8 months of the year. I also have some of the most healthiest and happiest chickens from which I get fresh eggs daily.
