Mississippi which is located in the Boise neighborhood has of lately been taking on it’s own personality, it’s own neighborhood vibe. Full of pedestrians, bikes and strollers, Mississippi Ave. is a warm and welcoming site from what it used to be just a short time back which was formerly a crime-ridden area. But now it’s a vibrant part of town that has been a desirable place to move into for many.

A few other hot spots are Missing Link Toys, The Sugar Cube deserts, The Big Egg breakfast and Brunch spot, Salty’s Dog an Cat shop, Lupa Wine bar, Garden State Italian food, North Portland Bike Works and Black Wagon kids clothing and items, Prost German food, Fresh Pot Coffee, The Crow Bar, Amnesia Brewing, Gravy, Equinox, Por Que No? and dozens and dozens more great places of interest.
